Project Overview

Maersk acquired two additional floors within their existing premises at Sunning Plaza (making 10 floors total).  Whilst a re-organisation within the company was key, a priority for the design element was to combine two heavily trafficked ‘counter’ floors. As this floor would cater to 100 + visitors/day the finishes needed to be durable and functional whilst providing a bright and efficient image. Pedestrian noise was controlled by cushioned vinyl flooring, and a pale hardwood beech counter was off-set with accents of the Maersk blue on pillars and signage providing a clean, practical and functional solution.  As more than one sister company would be occupying the floor, clear directional signage was important within the lift lobby area.
